Last June, my song-to-inspire was Mariah Carey’s Make It Happen but for the rest of the year (or until something new comes up, or some song resurfaces), Glee’s version of Defying Gravity is my new song.

I absolutely love this show. It’s cheesy, it has singing, it has cute guys (ahem, Puck), it has cute gay guys! What more could you want?

iTunes is selling three versions of this song - the duet between Rachel and Kurt, Rachel’s solo, and Kurt’s solo. I listened to all three and the duet is just more dramatic and I think it sounds better. But between, the two solos, I must say that I’m digging Kurt’s version just cause I think he sings it with raw emotion (probably because of Kurt’s storyline in the series), or I’m just probably tired of always hearing Rachel.

Fox guys, please give more songs to Puck and Artie. They definitely sound better than Finn. Although, Finn’s Can’t Fight This Feeling is still one of my top favorites! :-)
